About the project
Construction of a new building for the Faculty of Arts and Humanities in Tartus governorate, executed by the Syrian Establishment for Building and Construction (SEBCO). The building comprises several structural blocks, and works are currently at the structural-frame stage: footings, pile caps and column necks.
Works completed as of September 2026
- Concrete poured for pile cap Cap 2 in block A8 on axis P.
- Timber formwork installed for column necks in blocks A7 and A8.
- Reinforcing steel installed for pile caps on axis L in block A9.
- Backfilling around footings in block A10 using approved excavation material.
Current stage
Under construction, with on-site supervision by the contractor's engineering and technical staff, ahead of the next structural stages.
