The project "Rehabilitation of Water Supply for the Most Vulnerable Communities in Eastern Aleppo" contributes to improving drinking-water supply for about 600,000 people in the Tal Shghayeb, Karm al-Maysar, Al-Nayrab and Qadi Askar sectors.
According to Alwaleed Philanthropies, achievements recorded in 2025 included rehabilitating about 1.2 km of main water pipelines and restoring household water connections to 100 buildings.
The project is carried out in cooperation between Aleppo Governorate, Alwaleed Philanthropies "Global" and the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat).
A workshop on the project, attended by representatives of the partner organisations, concluded in Aleppo city on 19 October 2026.
