About the Project

The Deir ez-Zor Industrial City is an industrial zone administered by the Ministry of Economy and Industry through its Directorate of Industrial Cities. It covers about 1,260 hectares and is linked to Deir ez-Zor city by the Siyasiyah Bridge, which is being rehabilitated alongside the city works.

Applications for industrial plots opened on 11 October 2026 at the city administration's temporary office in the Al-Omran Establishment building on Port Said Street, Deir ez-Zor.

First Phase

  • Infrastructure development on 200 hectares, providing more than 140 hectares of industrial plots.
  • A further 100 hectares to be allocated in the coming period to a company specialising in oil, gas and energy services.
  • The city administration is completing part of the sewage works and preparing road, water and electricity networks and an energy-services city, while investors prepare their own plots.

Plots and Subscription Terms

  • The city has been redesigned to offer more than 225 plots of 1,000 to 1,500 square metres, after several large plots were subdivided.
  • USD 25 per square metre in cash, or USD 32 per square metre in instalments over five years.
  • A 5% down payment of the plot value on signing the contract.

Current Stage

Subscriptions are open, with about 30 applications submitted by 28 October 2026.
