Aerial bundled cables are composed of one or more insulated conductors and one neutral (bare or insulated) conductor. They are supplied in two-core (Duplex), three-core (Triplex), or four-core (Quadruplex) configurations, XLPE insulated with 2.5 percent carbon black, manufactured per NEMA WC 7 / IEC 60228.
The cables are used for secondary overhead lines (in circuits not exceeding 1000 V phase to phase) on poles, or as feeders to residential premises.
