Description
An outer layer of aluminium conductor concentrically stranded over the central core of galvanized solid or stranded steel wires forms the ACSR conductor. Produced by Giza Power Industry per EN 50182, ASTM B 232, or IEC 61089.
ACSR conductors are widely used for electrical power transmission over long distances, since they are ideal for long overhead line spans. They are also used as messenger wires for supporting overhead electrical cables.
