Purlins and girts are cold-formed, high-strength secondary members that transfer cladding loads to the primary frame. American Columns supplies Z-sections for roof purlins and C-sections for wall girts, pre-punched for bolt connections. Members are delivered pre-cut to exact project lengths.
Z-section depths: 150–250 mm; C-section depths: 100–200 mm; thickness: 1.5–3.0 mm. Steel grade: S550 GD (yield 550 MPa). Zinc-coated to EN 10346.
