The DG (Deep Cycle GEL) series is a pure GEL valve-regulated lead-acid battery engineered for long service life and reliable cyclic operation. With a 12-year floating design life, the battery is positioned for standby applications and for frequent cyclic discharge duty under extreme environmental conditions, including high temperatures and dusty installations.

The DG series is intended for use as the storage element in solar photovoltaic systems alongside Altawfeer's PV panels and 1 kVA to 5 kVA MPPT inverters. It supports off-grid and hybrid configurations for residential, commercial and small industrial backup power.
