The Syrian Investment Authority has listed an investment opportunity on its investment map for the development of the North Ashrafieh and Sheikh Maqsoud district project in Aleppo, under the real estate development sector.
The project spans an area of 315 hectares and includes, according to the source, 18,900 housing units distributed across varied residential blocks. These include youth and savings housing, plots designated for housing associations, plots for owners of expropriated land, and investment plots belonging to the state institution.
According to the source, the first and second phases of the project have been completed and delivered to subscribers. The third phase includes 2,400 housing units with completion rates ranging between 30 and 95 percent, which have sustained damage and require restoration and rehabilitation. This phase also contains a number of unexecuted plots, along with infrastructure that has been designed but not yet built.
The project also includes, per the source, a new branch of the institution, a hotel, investment zones, entertainment and cultural centers, private and public commercial activities, administrative and religious centers, health centers, private and public hospitals, private and public schools and kindergartens, and gardens.
