Development of a model residential suburb in Daraa al-Balad, beside the Daraa al-Balad reservoir near the shoe factory. The scheme comprises 20 model residential buildings of seven storeys, five model ecological gardens, a model school, a fully equipped clinic, and a plant treating human waste for agricultural reuse, with integrated solar power systems across all buildings.
What this means for a rebuilding company: a compact residential block on a limited footprint. The build is vertical and the site is tight, so site logistics, material handling and lifting sequence become part of the challenge rather than a detail within it. The core scope is excavation, foundations and repeating concrete frames for twenty buildings, then internal and external finishes and apartment-level plumbing and electrical work. Two specialist packages set this scheme apart: the waste treatment plant for agricultural reuse, with its tanks, pumps, transfer mains and irrigation network; and the solar systems across every building — panels, inverters, mounting, distribution boards and connection into each building's network. Add to that a school, a clinic and the landscaping of five ecological gardens.
