

The Syrian Investment Authority has published a formal listing on its official investment map for the development of comprehensive infrastructure in the Jobar, Industrial Qaboun, and Service Qaboun districts of Damascus Governorate. The project carries an estimated cost of 750 million US dollars and covers a total area of approximately 7.7 million square meters. Damascus Governorate is the owning authority for this opportunity.
The project is structured under a public-private partnership (PPP) model. The investor is responsible for studying and executing the required works, and in return will receive a proportional share of the floor area within the development zone once the governorate completes the urban planning process and issues the official regulatory plan for the area.

Damascus Governorate serves as both the owning and supervising authority, and is responsible for issuing the regulatory plan for the area prior to commencement of works. This opportunity is part of the Syrian Investment Authority's formal program inviting private-sector participation in rebuilding affected districts of the capital.
