Al-Faihaa Engineering Products (Al-Faihaa) was established in Jordan in 1987 as a trading company specializing in construction chemicals. In 1987, Al-Faihaa established its own manufacturing facility under the name "Babylon Building Materials" (currently Al-Faihaa), a subsidiary, to manufacture concrete additives, curing compounds, release agents, protective coatings for concrete, repair products, and plasters, all under license from Grace Construction Products (currently GCP Applied Technologies).
