The Director General of the Syrian Investment Authority, Engineer Talal al-Hilali, held a meeting with Dr. Anas al-Kazbari, founding partner of the Overseas Investment Group, to explore prospects for major real estate partnerships between Syria and the United Arab Emirates.

The discussions centered on a portfolio of large-scale real estate projects planned for launch in May, with particular focus on the group's expertise in the regulatory and organizational dimensions of property development and international project execution standards.

The Overseas Investment Group has longstanding ties to the Syrian market, having previously co-developed landmark projects including the Gate Eight commercial complex, which opened in 2010 across a total area of approximately 200,000 square meters.

The meeting reflects a broader momentum at the Syrian Investment Authority, which has been actively engaging regional and international investors as part of efforts to attract capital and accelerate the rebuilding of Syria's key economic sectors.
