
The Qatifah district of Rif Dimashq Governorate held an expanded coordination meeting chaired by district director Engineer Bilal Sakhr, with the participation of administrative unit heads from across the district's towns. The meeting reviewed current service needs and established priorities for field operations in the coming period.
Participants stressed the importance of improving public sanitation, maintaining road networks, and securing drinking water supplies. Emphasis was placed on accelerating the implementation of priority projects that directly affect residents' daily lives across the district's communities.

The total value of all approved projects amounts to 116 million new Syrian pounds, distributed across the sanitation and water supply sectors.
The governorate indicated that construction work will commence once all legal and contractual procedures have been completed, ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory frameworks. The projects aim to strengthen infrastructure and raise the standard of services delivered to residents throughout the Qatifah district.
