After the reconciliation agreements, many residents of Nawa have returned, but the city still faces challenges due to the extensive damage to infrastructure. Reconstruction is underway, but there are significant hurdles in restoring basic services like water, electricity, and healthcare. The city needs substantial external support for its recovery.
