Maarat al-Numan continues to face significant challenges as it recovers from the war. While some displaced residents have returned, the town’s infrastructure remains heavily damaged. Reconstruction efforts are ongoing but slow, and vital services like healthcare, electricity, and water are still in need of urgent attention and international support.
